30/06/2024: End of the temporary exemption from the obligation to provide workers with domestic hot water
As a reminder, the French Labor Code requires all employers to provide adjustable-temperature water in the workplace.
For reasons of energy efficiency, it was possible, until June 30, 2024, to derogate from this obligation, after consulting the social and economic committee (if any) and provided that the risk assessment, updated beforehand, revealed no risk to the health and safety of workers due to the absence of domestic hot water, and taking into account the needs linked to the possible activity of workers from external companies.
