February 21, 2026: VELP diesel engine exhaust emissions
The occupational exposure limit (OEL) for diesel engine exhaust emissions measured as elemental carbon will come into effect on February 21, 2026, for underground mining and tunneling.
It is set at 0.05 mg/m³.
As a reminder, this OEL has been applicable since February 21, 2023 for other activities.
February 28, 2026: GEREP declaration of 2025 emissions for establishments subject to quotas
The GEREP emissions report for reference year N must be entered on the platform by February 28 N+1 at the latest for facilities covered by the greenhouse gas Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).
