21/02/2026: OELV Diesel engine exhaust emissions

The Occupational Exposure Limit Value (OELV) for diesel engine exhaust emissions, measured as elemental carbon, comes into force from February 21, 2026, for underground mining and tunnel construction.

It is set at 0.05 mg.m-3.

As a reminder, this OELV has been applicable since February 21, 2023, for other activities.

28/02/2026: GEREP emissions declaration for 2025 for facilities subject to quotas

The GEREP emissions declaration for reference year N must be completed on the platform by February 28 of year N+1 at the latest for facilities covered by the greenhouse gas Emissions Trading System (ETS).
