After being updated at the end of 2022 to include the management of refrigerant waste in Trackdéchets as ofJanuary 1, 2023, the Cerfa 15947 form has been updated again to reflect the F-Gas III regulation.
Consequently, since July 6, 2024, version 4 of the Cerfa 15947 formmust be used for work on equipment requiring the handling of refrigerants and falling under category I, II, III, or IV activities.
This update incorporates the new requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/573, which entered into force on March 11, 2024, and extended leak checks to equipment containing exclusively HFC-based substances known as "HFOs" (e.g., R1234yf, R1234ze, etc.).
"HFO" refrigerants have been added to sections 7, 8, and 9: Minimum inspection frequency, and section 12: ADR/RID designation.
Please note that Cerfa 15947*4 may be used for "HFOs" even if French regulations have not yet made it mandatory.
As a reminder: Activity categories are defined by the decree of June 30, 2008:
- Category I: leak checking, maintenance and servicing, installation, commissioning, and refrigerant recovery for all refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment.
- Category II: maintenance and servicing, installation, commissioning, and refrigerant recovery for refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment containing less than 2 kg of refrigerant, and leak checking for refrigeration equipment of air conditioning and heat pump systems.
- Category III: Recovery of refrigerants from refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment containing less than 2 kg of refrigerant;
- Category IV: Leak checking of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment.
