November 1, 2025: Mandatory vehicle equipment during winter in mountainous regions

Vehicles must be equipped with winter tires or carry snow chains or socks in their trunk to equip two drive wheels from November 1st to March 31st in the municipalities of mountainous regions listed by prefectural decree.
