The mission of Tennaxia is to help its clients reduce their risks, protect their business, reduce their costs and enable the development of new business opportunities by providing a clear and integrated insight on the EH&S facets of their business.

Our offering consists of services and software dedicated to EH&S and sustainable management. Our consultants are domain experts. They have at least 8 years of experience and are experts in the EH&S regulations. They also know how the EH&S function is run in companies as they have held operational positions in various organizations prior to joining Tennaxia.

Our software is delivered to the clients on a ASP or SaaS (software as a service) model. The technology used is state of the art (SOA architecture, Web 2.0 components). The software is a suite of integrated applications which embed operational processes based on best available practices and rich domain content.

Our Vision

After decades of global growth the world is now facing key issues due to globalisation, climate change, natural resources exhaustion, emerging economies, energy costs, etc. Everyone now agrees that to be solved, these issues require a change of paradigm: the economic model inherited from the nineteenth century and developed during the twentieth century is no more the solution. The ideas of Sustainable Development have progressively emerged in the recent years as a conceptual framework that could help sort out the issues and develop new solutions.

A lot of companies have adopted this framework and are engaged in sustainable development strategies and initiatives. This is however relatively recent and sustainable management across the entire organisation is rather still in its infancy. For example, the Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) function - which is core to sustainable development management - is often viewed only as an operational function under the responsibility of plant managers. Even if investments in EH&S programs can reach significant budgets, the funding of the function itself is kept to a minimum and with little investment in IT: most frequently spreadsheets and ad hoc systems are used, often without a standardized approach between two different entities of the same group. The approach is also very different from one country to another as the regulations are mainly locally driven.

The end result is a lack of insight, difficulties to measure the performance of sustainable development strategies, and cost inefficiencies.

We believe that it will be more and more difficult for companies to answer to their sustainable development needs and goals without a structured and efficient management of the EH&S aspects of their business. Our vision is to build an integrated solution that will provide the companies with all the EH&S data and processes they need to manage. This includes solutions for managing the processes (management systems ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001or ILOS-OSH), the impacts (Air, Water, Wastes, Soils, GHG, etc.), the management reporting and the applicable legal and regulatory compliance requirements. All these solutions are linked together, creating value not only at the plant level but also for the division and group levels.

Created in 2001 Tennaxia is leader in France, its domestic market. Our software and services are used by more than 500 clients in various activities. Our clients include large global companies such as Total, Renault, Sanofi-Aventis or Schneider Electric.

Our goal is to keep delivering on our vision by adding new value to our integrated solution and by expanding our geographical reach, while keeping the same business model:

  • Our software is already used all around the globe by the users of our global clients. The software supports as many languages as needed. No downloads, no applets: a standard web browser and an internet connexion are the only technical requirements to have access to the software!
  • We believe that one needs to know the regulations from the inside in order to be relevant. We therefore rely on local partners to provide the domain expertise and regulatory services to our clients abroad. Our partners are certified based on a charter defining precisely the quality criteria and service level agreements. We regularly audit the work done by our partners in order to keep at the highest level the excellent quality of services we are renowned for.
